This patch introduces major improvements across multiple systems, with a strong focus on stability, gameplay quality, and blizzlike features.



Core Improvements

  • Improved overall server performance and stability
  • Reduced crashes and improved long-term uptime
  • Faster data handling and smoother gameplay experience
  • Improved server responsiveness under high load
  • General backend optimizations for a more reliable experience



Battle Pet System (Major Overhaul)

  • Complete rework of the Battle Pet system
  • Wild pets now behave more blizzlike, including multi-pet encounters
  • Fixed pet levels, health scaling, and spawn behavior
  • All pet abilities are now fully implemented
  • Pet capture system improved (capture chance increases per attempt)

Quests & Trainers

  • Fixed and updated most Battle Pet quests and tamers
  • Quest chains (e.g. Julia, the Pet Tamer) fully functional
  • Trainers now correctly teach race-specific abilities
  • Map markers now properly guide players to objectives

Rewards & UI

  • Fixed Battle Pet quest rewards and loot (e.g. supply bags)
  • Achievements now grant correct rewards
  • Pet Journal, healing, and revive systems improved

PvP & Features

  • Queue for Battle Pet PvP matchmaking (blizzlike system)
  • Added player vs player pet duels
  • Turn timer (30s) now enforced
  • Automatic pet selection if only one remains



General Gameplay Improvements

 

  • Rested XP now works correctly in faction areas
  • Fixed profession UI displaying incorrect values
  • Fixed multiple crashes related to character selection
  • Improved ticket/support system functionality



Classes & Spells

Monk

  • Fixed Diffuse Magic
  • Fixed Glyph of Zen Flight

Mage

  • Flameglow is now correctly affected by Battle Fatigue in arenas
  • Fixed Glyph of Illusion

Warlock

  • Felhunter: Spell Lock now correctly interacts with Havoc
  • Removing Metamorphosis no longer removes Aura of the Elements

Warrior

  • Unbridled Wrath now correctly procs from root and stun effects

Hunter

  • Kill Command now ignores Line of Sight (LoS) as intended

Paladin

  • Hand of Freedom can now be used while affected by sleep or sap
  • Hand of Freedom no longer removes sleep and sap effects incorrectly

General Spell Fixes

  • Cooldowns now display correctly on first use
  • Repentance duration corrected to 8 seconds in PvP
  • Charge is no longer interrupted by roots or stuns (only disorients)
  • Default Battle Fatigue adjusted to intended values



PvP & Battlegrounds

  • Players can now leave arenas while in combat
  • Arena reward configurations fixed
  • General PvP improvements and balance fixes



Quests, NPCs & World

General

  • Fixed multiple quests that previously could not be completed
  • Training dummy quests now correctly grant progress
  • Added missing NPC dialogues and interactions

Duskwood

  • Complete cleanup and refactor of creature spawns
  • Removed duplicate spawns
  • Added missing NPCs for a more blizzlike experience

Worgen (Phasing)

  • Fixed phasing issues for Rampaging Worgen

Dungeons

  • Wailing Caverns event (Naralex) fully fixed



Localization

  • Improved support for multiple languages (including German, French, Chinese, etc.)
  • Better translations across quests, NPCs, and game text



Economy & Rates

  • Fixed gathering XP rate (now correctly set to normal values)
